
The Michigan Mudbowl Club was founded in 2015 by Nicholas Cargill (above middle), Andrew Soenksen (above right), and Archer Hauck when the traditional Host, the Michigan Iota Beta chapter of Sigma Alpha Epsilon (SAE) fraternity, was suspended from operations. Beyond becoming a cherished 83-year Homecoming tradition revered by the Ann Arbor community for generations, the Michigan Mudbowl had become a significant fundraising event, over the years providing hundreds of thousands for our #LittleVictors at C.S. Mott Children's Hospital.
When asked why keep the Game going, they said it's bigger than just the adrenaline, the History, and the experience now. It's about having a real impact and helping to change lives for the better. "We gotta keep the Tradition alive," they said in the weeks leading to the 2016, 84th Annual Michigan Mudbowl. "We gotta do it, #Ferdakids!"
